Information on your device

Filter preferences, website exceptions, rule packs, and recovery state stay on your device and are shared between AdBlockX and its Safari extensions. Safari runs the filtering on your device.

When opened, the panel reads the current tab URL to determine whether filtering is supported. Only the hostname is sent to the native component on your device for site controls. Full browsing URLs are not saved and no browsing history is built.

The app’s data boundaries

This version requires no account, uses no analytics SDK, and does not automatically upload browsing history, page content, or diagnostic reports. Rules ship with app updates; there are no online rule downloads or version checks.

Safari runs the content blocker. The panel uses current-tab access and native messaging for site controls. You can manage extension permissions in your device’s Safari extension settings.

Reports and feedback you choose to share

Reports are generated locally. By default, they contain app and system versions, known extension states, rule packs and versions, application state, and error codes. A hostname is included only if you add one. Reports do not automatically include full URLs, browsing history, page content, or your complete exception list.

You can review, edit, or save a report before sharing. A service or recipient receives it only when you complete a sharing action or send an email. The selected service processes information under its own policy.

Feedback sent to support@eedon.cn may include your email address, subject, message, and attachments you choose to send. We use it to handle your feedback and necessary follow-up, not for personalized advertising or unrelated marketing.

Website and necessary technical logs

This website has no submission forms, analytics scripts, advertising cookies, or cross-site tracking. Language is expressed in the URL and appearance follows your system. No language or theme preference is stored. Copying the email address only attempts to write our address to your clipboard when clicked; it does not read your clipboard.

Hosting and security services may process IP addresses, requested pages, access times, browser or device types, and error logs to deliver pages, investigate failures, and prevent attacks. These technical logs are separate from the app’s browsing history and are not used for advertising profiles. Retention depends on the hosting configuration and provider policies.

Retention and deletion

Feedback emails and attachments are normally retained for no more than 12 months and deleted or anonymized promptly once their purpose is fulfilled. Records needed for legal obligations or disputes are retained only for the minimum necessary period.

You can remove exceptions, change categories, or pause filtering in the app. Pausing preserves your settings. You manage exported reports. Uninstalling does not guarantee deletion of every system shared container or external copy.

Third parties and security

App Store, license websites, and email services process information under their own policies. Apple handles App Store downloads and system diagnostics.

We do not sell or rent personal information. We disclose it only within the scope of your authorization, necessary service processing, or applicable legal requirements, and use reasonable access controls and security measures. Internet communication cannot be guaranteed completely secure.
